Privacy Policy for Notes Max

Effective date:
Last updated:

This Privacy Policy describes how Notes Max ("the app") handles your information. Notes Max is developed by ("we", "us").

The short version: Notes Max keeps everything on your device. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and does not connect to the internet.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you create in Notes Max is stored only on your device:

We have no server. We never receive a copy of any of this.

Permissions

The app requests no internet permission and cannot send data off your device.

Device security features

Notes Max can optionally require your device screen lock or fingerprint before showing your notes ("Require unlock"). This uses Android's own biometric/device-credential system; the app never sees or stores your fingerprint, PIN, or password.

Data collection and sharing

We collect no personal data. Because nothing is collected, nothing is shared with anyone, sold, or used for advertising or analytics. There are no third-party trackers in the app.

Links to our other apps

The app's "About" screen may link to other apps we publish. Tapping such a link opens the Google Play Store (or your browser). Once you leave Notes Max, the privacy policy of Google Play or that website applies. We do not share any of your information with those destinations.

Children's privacy

Notes Max does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Deleting your data

Your data lives on your device. You can delete individual notes in the app, or remove everything by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it (uninstalling removes the app's database and attachments; check any backup folder you may have copied elsewhere yourself).

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app adds features that handle data differently — for example, optional cloud backup to a service like Google Drive, or crash reporting — we will update this policy before that version is released and revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of a version that includes such features means the then-current policy applies.
